Hjá MorMor is the yellow house, Undir Heygnum in Tvøroyri, with a small sewing workshop, café, and rooms for accommodation!
The house dates back to 1890, and most people from Tvøroyri know it as MorMor’s house – Laurina Voksnæs Hansen – who was from Skagen and married there.
The café is open approximately 3 days a week from May to September. During the winter, we also have limited café opening hours and occasionally host music and other cultural events. These are announced on Facebook.
Find us on facebookAt MorMor, we make an effort to serve homemade food made from quality ingredients. We bake bread and cakes, make soups, etc.
At MorMor, you step into a small sewing workshop. Here I – Anna Mortensen – spend much of the winter designing and producing cushions, posters, bags, skirts, and more, made from recycled materials.
The products can be purchased in the café.
